Hi there – welcome to my blog! Before we dive into the places I’ve been and fantasies of future exploration, allow me to introduce myself.

My name is Alysha Frank (hence the inspiration for franklytraveled). I’m 28, and I live with my boyfriend in Boston, MA. I’m a huge sports fanatic, specifically New England Patriots-obsessed and a proud alumna of Bentley University. Also worthy to note, I’m a huge Disney nerd. [No matter how many other places are on my list, I always make a point to head back to the happiest place on earth.].

Reading and photography are my more respectable hobbies – but I watch a fair amount of what my boyfriend would categorize as “trash tv.” I’m newer to the scene with fan favorites Game of Thrones and Fargo.

My day job’s in marketing, but I’ve always loved to write. I think I was afraid to get on an airplane pre-2010, but after a friend pushed me to apply for a study abroad program, I suddenly couldn’t get enough. As most students will tell you, it was one of the best and most life-changing experiences of my life (more on that later). Fast forward almost nine years later, and here we are at my blog.

Planning trips for myself and friends has become a passion of mine, an addiction almost. There are thousands of travel blogs out there, but my goal here is to help you explore some of the places on your bucket list by sharing itineraries as well as my process for trip planning so you can do it on your own. I’ve only scratched the surface of all the places I’d like to visit, but I’m excited to document my adventures and hope it proves helpful for you, too!

Thanks for stopping by.

Alysha
